Give us Facebook Page access (Messages and Ads)

How to give MAD Monkey task access for Messages and Ads on your Facebook Page, on your phone or a computer.

Who to add: Miguel Estrada, miguel@madmonkey.media (MAD Monkey Media)

Before you start: you need full control of the Page (you are the owner or an admin). If you have more than one Page, do this once for each. About 3 minutes per Page.

You are giving Miguel task access with two tasks: Messages and Ads. That lets us answer your chats and run your ads, but we cannot delete your Page or remove your access.

On your phone (Facebook app)

Open the Facebook app and tap the Menu (the 3 lines or your profile picture).

Tap Pages and choose your Page.
Tap Switch to use Facebook as the Page.

Tap the Menu again, then Settings & privacy, then Settings.
Tap Page setup, then Page access.

Next to People with task access, tap Add New.

Tap Next, type Miguel Estrada or miguel@madmonkey.media, and tap his name.
Turn on Messages (it may say Messages and community activity) and Ads. Leave the rest as is.

Tap Give access, enter your Facebook password if asked, and tap Confirm. Your password only goes to Facebook. Never send it to us.
Have another Page? Switch back to your profile and repeat steps 2 to 9.

Another way in: while acting as the Page you can also open the Professional dashboard and tap Page access.

On a computer (facebook.com)

Go to facebook.com. Click your profile picture at the top right, then See all profiles, and choose your Page.

Click the Page picture at the top right, then Settings & privacy, then Settings.
In the left menu choose Page setup, then Page access.

Next to People with task access, click Add New, then Next.
Search for miguel@madmonkey.media, pick Miguel Estrada, turn on Messages and Ads, and click Give access.

Confirm with your Facebook password if asked.

How to tell it worked

Under Page access you will see Miguel Estrada as a pending invite. Once we accept it, he shows in the list. Nothing else to do.

If something does not match

I do not see Page access: make sure you switched into the Page (step 3). If it is still missing, you may not have full control.
I cannot find Miguel: search by email, miguel@madmonkey.media.
It says the Page is managed in a business portfolio: call us and we will send a partner request you only have to approve.
